Organizational changes in Consolis Group

Organizational changes in Consolis Group

Consolis today announced plans to reduce 40% of its workforce in the corporate functions in line with a strategic cost-reduction plan.

Over the past year the Group has, like all others in the construction industry, faced significant external pressures, from economic volatility to shifting customer demand. These challenges have prompted a thorough review of Consolis’ organizational structure and operating model.

Eduard van der Meer, CEO says: “To remain competitive and responsive, we continue to empower our local and regional teams with autonomy and authority whilst at the same time building on the strength of the Group when it comes to excellence in sales, operations and purchasing. This will allow Consolis’ effort to continue providing a high standard of service to its customers, respond to evolving market dynamics, and operate efficiently. Our commitment to delivering exceptional services to our customers remains unchanged.”

By suggesting a simplification of Consolis Group structure with leaner corporate functions, we continue building an agile, resilient, and customer-focused organization. After consultations with Consolis European Works Council, local consultations will follow.

The countries will continue to work and collaborate in the excellent networking structures, where reporting and common activities throughout the years have been established by the corporate functions. Going forward the local subsidiaries will continue their engagement with local customers, support regional development, and align closely with local business needs and opportunities.
