Description

Copenhagen Markets is a wholesale marketplace for fruits, flowers and vegetables. The site is 220,000 m², similar to 30 football fields.

Three new halls covering 67,000 m² were needed to extend the warehouse (with the option to build an additional 30,000 m²).

Spæncom has designed, produced and erected many concrete elements. The system consists of hammerhead columns, TTS roof elements, walls, beams and 500 A-foundations. Spæncom was chosen very early in the process to share its experience and advice regarding construction joints and anticipate potential issues.
