Tuletornen is a residential building located in Sundbyberg, Sweden. Strängbetong, Consolis Swedish subsidiary, provided and assembled the precast concrete elements for the project. The hollow-core slabs feature the TermoDeck system to ensure low energy consumption and efficient heating distribution. The supply also includes the walls and the stairs of the residence.
Wallenstam AB, the developer, describes the building as “a nice mix of modernist Gaudi’s organic forms and our Scandinavian penchant for simplicity and functionality”.
The two buildings of 16-floors each accommodate a total of 180 apartments and a two-storey garage.
