Consolis to build a new factory in the Netherlands, strengthening its lead in sustainability.
Consolis is confidently establishing its position as a European leader in the sustainable transformation of the precast concrete industry by building a cutting-edge factory in Koudekerk aan den Rijn, the Netherlands. By securing the supply of low-carbon precast building materials to the Dutch construction industry, the company is pursuing its goal of achieving long-term sustainable growth.

The Koudekerk aan den Rijn factory will increase our capacity to deliver low-carbon precast hollow-core slabs to our customers in the Netherlands and secures our position as leaders of the sustainable transformation of the industry” says Mikael Stöhr, CEO Consolis.
The new factory will have a production capacity of 2 million square meters of hollow core slabs per year. Automation and other high-tech industrialized processes will support efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing contributing to the global effort to combat climate change.
Koudekerk aan den Rijn is an ideal base for deliveries in the west of the Netherlands. A region where many houses and apartments will be built in the coming decade. Construction of the first phase will start in mid-2024 with a production capacity of 1 million square meters of hollow core slab per year. This phase of the new plant will be fully operational by the end of 2025.
