Strängbetong supplies a 2014 MIPIM Award winner – Würth HQ & warehouse in Sweden
Würth’s new head office and central warehouse in Örebro, Sweden took home first prize in the recent MIPIM Awards in the Best Industrial and Logistics Development category. The building designed by White, a leading architectural practice in Scandinavia, was the only Swedish building in the final at the MIPIM Awards. The MIPIM annual trade fair is largest and most important trade event for the real estate industry in Europe and the MIPIM Awards honour the most outstanding and accomplishedbuilding projects, completed or yet to be built, around the world.
For Würth’s winning project, Strängbetong supplied the concrete frame and was responsible for its design, manufacture and assembly. The central warehouse is a Bashallen® from Strängbetong with passageways to the office section. The assembly of the buildings took place in spring 2012.
