Campus Aarhus C of VIA University College

Description

VIA Campus C is home to young people studying to become teachers, educators, social workers, designers or building designers. The complex consists of approximately 46,000 m². This is Denmark’s by far the largest education campus among all the vocational schools.

VIA Campus C consists of 5 buildings on 4 to 6 floors connected by footbridges. Most buildings have local atriums that collect the skylight via glass roofs. Pictures of the sky with clouds is featured on facade panels to give an aesthetic look to the exteriors. The images have been transferred to the facade elements using the Graphic Concrete technique.

Spæncom, Consolis’ Danish subsidiary, delivered a wide range of elements, including columns, beams, hollow-core slabs, grandstand elements and facades panels.
