Overnight assembly by Spanbeton teams to reduce traffic disruption

Our assembly teams at Spanbeton worked overnight for 5 nights installing the 35 meter long precast beams for a viaduct crossing the A4 highway. The assembly is part of the A9 highway project based in Badhoevedorp near Amsterdam.

The Dutch governmental agency Rijkwaterstaat, reponsible for the design, construction, management and maintenance of the infrastructure facilities filmed the installation using a timelapse video. The remaining beams will be installed later this year enabling all traffic travelling from Haarlem to Amstelveen/Holendrecht to use the new A9 highway.
